A Two-Day Hand-Painted Denim Jacket Workshop
Ages 14 and up!
Transform an ordinary denim jacket into a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art. Through demonstrations, design exercises, and guided painting techniques, participants will learn how to develop a concept, and paint directly onto denim usingacrylic and textile paints. No painting experience is necessary—just a willingness to experiment and create.
Participants bring their own denim jacket. All other supplies included!
Instructor Bio:
Born in Chicago and raised in Maryland, Tatiana has been surrounded by art and creativity all of her life. Tatiana took YPS classes at MICA throughout middle and high school. During her Junior and senior year in high school she studied fashion design at the Carroll County Career and Technology center under Ms. Harris and AP art at South Carroll under Ms. Dunlap. Tatiana went on to study Fashion Design at Syracuse University and flourished. She then continued her education receiving an MAED from University of Phoenix. Tatiana taught for over 15 years while continuing to practice her creativity.
